Fueled by the fiery runways, all-red everything was a fashion moment. Then, the ‘pop of red’ viral styling hack took hold, lingering through several seasons as the accent colour to embrace.
Adding one vibrant red garment or accessory to an otherwise neutral outfit remains a favourite of style influencers and this season, brands caught on in a big way.
Now, there are red items everywhere, from knit sweaters to cashmere beanies and shiny patent flats seeking to serve as our ‘pop’ du jour.
If you haven’t embraced the idea yet rest assured, the idea isn’t going anywhere. Judging by what’s being lapped up for the northern summer, red will remain a sought-after colour for those of us Down Under for a while yet.
