Reese Witherspoon was actually born Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon, but decided to take the name Reese after her mother’s maiden name.

Reese has three dogs, a labrador called Hank, a German Shephard named Nash and a French Bulldog called Pepper.

Reese’s company Draper James sells beautiful classic clothing, art and accessories for the home.
She’s close to her Big Little Lies co-stars
Reese with is good friends with her Big Little Lies co-stars, especially Nicole Kidman. Both actresses have posted multiple images demonstrating their friendship.
She owns her own production company
Reese founded the production company Type A films in 2000 and merged it with Bruna Papandrea’s Make Movies banner to create a production company, Pacific Standard in 2012. They have since produced major films including Gone Girl and Wild, plus successful television series such as Big Little Lies.

Reese was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010 after years of work in the film industry. Earlier this year the actress demonstrated her unique sense of humour when she came across the star and spent a moment cleaning it and confessing her love.
