PROFHILO® TO TREAT SAGGING SKIN
Injectable treatment Profhilo® is intended to treat skin laxity and to help remodel aging, sagging and crepey skin.
“Profhilo® is a natural skin booster where the slow release of Hyaluronic Acid stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, improving skin tone, texture, fine lines, hydration and overall radiance,” explains Penny Wright Lovely By skin institute’s Advanced Technical Trainer and Nurse Training Coordinator.
“It can help to increase firmness and elasticity and promote healthier and softer-looking skin. Profhilo® is most commonly used for face and neck areas and is suitabl for 35-60 years olds with dehydration, textured skin and fine lines.”
Unlike the Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers we’re now familiar with that provide localised volume to areas like lips and cheeks, Profhilo® has a runnier consistency that distributes evenly over a larger area beneath the surface of skin to give an overall smoother appearance. The application involves placing the product under the skin using a fine needle at points which are chosen to ensure safety and maximise the lifting action of the product.
You’ll need two treatments one month apart and the results can last six to nine months, however, this can vary from person to person and depends on your skin type and age.
COSMELAN TACKLES STUBBORN PIGMENTATION
Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel is a treatment that’s gaining plenty of attention worldwide for its remarkable results treating pigmentation on all ethnicities, skin types and tones. It is said to be up to 95% effective for dramatically addressing and treating all types of hyperpigmentation, melasma, and blotchy or scarred skin.

“We aren’t just treating the surface but we are treating the cause of the pigmentation at the source of the problem, the melanocyte (pigment cell),” she says.
The in-clinic peel procedure is followed by a special skincare regime to reduce pigment over 3 or 7 months. This treats the source of pigment by reducing melanin overproduction at the melanocyte. It can also improve dull skin, dark spots, dry areas, blemishes, and even acne scars (individual results may vary).
