Discover Asia-Pacific wonders aboard the luxurious Seven Seas Explorer
‘The Most Luxurious Ship Ever Built’ makes its maiden voyage to the Asia Pacific, inviting passengers on unforgettable adventures.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is giving travellers an opportunity to uncover unique wonders in their own backyard, as the Seven Seas Explorer makes its first voyage to the Asia Pacific region.

From the bright lights of Tokyo to the sacred temples of Bangkok, the new voyages offer the chance to explore both ancient wonders and modern marvels, without having to travel too far. “We’re delighted to be welcoming The Most Luxurious Ship Ever Built™ into Asia, Australia and New Zealand this year, with some truly incredible close to home sailings,” said Steve Odell, Senior Vice President and Managing Director Asia Pacific, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

To celebrate, Regent Seven Seas has introduced three new ports, each with their own cultural and natural gems. Indonesia has always held a special status for Kiwis and Aussies, as sun-seekers are drawn to its laid-back lifestyle, landscapes and vibrant food and cultural scene.

Regent Seven Seas introduces two new Indonesian destinations aboard the Seven Seas Explorer. A stop-off in Bali’s Celukan Bawang port offers a gateway to the stunning Bali Barat National Park, also known as West Bali National Park. The park is home to mangrove forests, coral reefs and native wildlife.

The Seven Seas Explorer also journeys through the cerulean waters of Lombok to the port of Gili Mas. As a surfers’ paradise, this picturesque destination offers a true serene escape, with its stunning beaches and colourful coral reefs.

Japan is calling

With Japan having recently welcomed travellers once again, Regent Seven Seas has jumped at the opportunity to take visitors off the beaten path to experience one of the country’s most luxurious destinations. The city of Beppu is nestled in the hills of the island of Kyushu in southern Japan and is a new port of call.

The resort town is home to thousands of onsen hot springs, where visitors can luxuriate in a soothing hot soak, while also experiencing cultural experiences, such as a steam cooking demonstration, where chefs cook traditional dishes over the natural hot springs.

The destinations are just part of the experience. As an award-winning cruise company, Regent Seven Seas has carved out an impressive reputation in the realm of all-inclusive luxury travel, designing the ultimate experiences of elegance and exploration down to the tiniest detail.

Seven Seas Explorer delivers a level of luxury never before seen in this region, and we cannot wait to share her with local guests,” says Odell. “From her all-balcony, all-suite accommodation, sublime cuisine and lavish interiors, to one of the highest space-to-guest and staff-to-guest ratios at sea, together with a crew delivering exemplary service on board, sailing on Seven Seas Explorer is an experience our guests will treasure forever.”

Exclusively designed for the ship, the Regent Suite offers a stunning two-bedroom stay, boasting its own in-room spa retreat, and wrap-around balcony where you can enjoy ocean views in your own privacy. Travellers who are keen on getting active can enjoy the sports deck with its golf net, putting green and paddle tennis court, while those after rejuvenation can book a treatment at the Serene Spa and Wellness centre.
