Everyone understands the feeling you get from curling up in a warm room, on a comfy couch, and opening up a great book. But what if you could do that in the middle of the woods in a purpose-built reading room, complete with everything needed for ultimate relaxation?
One such room has been created by US firm Studio Padron and sits in the woods in Upstate New York – ready for anyone wanting to take advantage of its beautiful location.
The Hemmelig Rom (Norwegian for “secret room) is a 200 square metre black cabin made from oak. Inside rests all the necessary items for your reading pleasure – a cozy armchair, a writing desk (incase you want to live out your writing fantasies), a bed and a wood-burning stove.
