Couple celebrates 60 years of marriage with 'Up' themed duet

When Youtuber Jason Lyle Black was coming up with a way to celebrate his grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary, he decided to create a video that would fit remind the couple every day, just how much they loved each other.

The musician wrote the arrangement for his grandparents based on the song in popular Pixar movie ‘Up’.

After watching the film, and connecting with the beautiful message, they decided to humour their grandson and create the memorable film.

Talking to The Huffington Post, Jason said his grandparents were more than happy to oblige.

“They loved it! They thought it was really cute.”

He went on to say that his grandparents, who had always served as a reminder of what is truly important, were a true inspiration to himself and the rest of his family.

“They are simple, everyday, ordinary people – and I say that not in a bad way,” he said. “They are just like every other cute older couple that have been married for 60 years. They are simple people who just love each other and their family.”
