The New Gucci Decor Collection That Your Home Needs
Introducing Gucci Décor, a collection of furniture and decorative pieces.

If your living room is looking a little tired, or if you just like the sound of a lacquered chair upholstered with an embroidered seat, you’re in luck. Whether you’re redecorating or just wanting to add a few luxurious pieces to your home, there is no shortage of beautiful creations in the Gucci decor collection. Guaranteed to be marvelled at by guests at your next dinner party, every piece is a winner.

First announcing their move into homeware last July, Gucci’s decor collection is finally available in New Zealand and Australia. Creative director Alessandro Michele described the edit as “an eclectic collection of items with which customers can dress their own spaces… The idea is not to prescribe a particular decorative look, but to provide elements that allow for living spaces to be customized.”

The home line is comprised of a range of pieces, from cushions and candles, to incense trays, chairs, wallpaper, and folding tables. The folding tables, “epitomize Michele’s imaginative notion that if you make pieces easily moveable, you can constantly dress and re-dress your environment,” Gucci said.

The collection is ever evolving, offering fragrant candles and luxurious incense trays from $190, or for those looking to treat themselves in a big way, their silk screens retail for almost $30,000.

Alessandro Michele was announced as Gucci’s new creative director in January 2015, ushering in a new renaissance for the infamous fashion house. Since then, he has poured his heart and soul into everything he has created, making each collection a very personal love letter.

For a piece of the love letter, you should purchase a piece of the Gucci decor collection. But you should also purchase just because Alessandro Michele is so ridiculously cool.
