New York Fashion Week has kicked off for another year and we’ve already seen plenty of covetable wardrobe inspiration paraded down the runway. Australian luxury fashion house Zimmermann sent a plethora of uber-feminine looks down the runway that we are sure to be dreaming about for months to come.
Zimmermann designer and co-founder Nicky Zimmermann explained that the spring/summer 2020 collection titled ‘Wavelength’ was inspired by her days spent at Taren Point Public School in South Sydney. The designer said it was the days at the end of the school year when exams were all finished and kids were allowed to watch a movie in the last few days before school broke up for summer. It was the iconic Bruce Brown surf documentary Endless Summer the was of particular inspiration to Zimmermann.
