It has been an incredibly memorable year for the Royal family, from Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee to King Charles III's first speech as monarch.

We’ve collected some of our favourite photos of the British royal family’s most memorable moments of 2022 so far.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee delivered a host of memorable family moments. From Prince Louis’ hilarious antics, to Prince Harry and Meghan finally returning to UK shores following Megxit two years earlier.

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, are greeted as they arrive for the National Service of Thanksgiving held at St Paul’s Cathedral during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in London. 

On the final day of the Jubilee celebrations, the Princess of Wales and Prince Louis attended the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, marking the end of the celebrations for the Platinum Jubilee. Prince Louis certainly garnered some attention that day! 

And what a wonderful celebration it was! While their trip to the Caribbean wasn’t all smooth sailing, it’s fair to say, Kate looked absolutely beautiful as she joined Patricia Allen, wife of Governor General of Jamaica Patrick Allen, at a dinner hosted by the Governor General and his wife, on the fifth day of the tour of the Caribbean to mark Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, in Kingston, Jamaica, March 23, 2022

What would be the first of two significant events for Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the Wales attended the Duke of Edinburgh’s memorial service at Westminster Abbey in March. The original funeral service was held the year prior with only 30 people present due to COVID protocols.

Prince George attended his first Wimbledon game in the Royal box for the Men’s grand final. 

A few weeks later, his younger sister Princess Charlotte attended the Commonwealth Games with her mum and dad on her first solo royal engagement without her siblings. 

The last official photograph taken of the late Queen Elizabeth II was taken on September 6, 2022, two days before she passed away. Her Majesty met with Ms. Truss and asked her to form a new Administration. Ms. Truss accepted Her Majesty’s offer and was appointed Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury.

It was a big start to the school year for the Wales children, who began a new school in Windsor on September 7, 2022. 

His Majesty pays tribute to his mother and thanks the public for their condolences and support following the death of The Queen and his accession to the Throne. In the message, he announced the new titles of the members of the Royal family. 

William, Prince of Wales, Catherine, Princess of Wales were joined by Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex outside Windsor Castle on September 10, 2022 following the passing of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth.
