The theme for the 2018 Met Gala is sure to get people talking, with WWD reporting that next year’s event will blend fashion and religion.
A yearly fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, the Met Gala is famed for its guest’s creative and elaborate fashion. The 2017 theme was Art of the In-between, and featured an array of innovative, colourful designs.
While the 2018 event won’t be held until May, many designers begin working on their pieces as early as October the year prior.
