For the last 10 years the French Country Fair has been attracting locals and Wellingtonians alike to the racecourse. With a lovely mix of food, coffee, and crafts it’s a great way to spend a sunny weekend in the Wairarapa.
Relax under the canopy of beautiful trees, listen to the jazz band playing on the veranda – buy a baguette fill it with cheese and salami , or stop in at the indoor cafe where you can have a freshly made croissant baked on site while enjoying the piano accordion playing. Stroll along to the exquisite stalls that weave in and out the buildings and amongst the trees.
