Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry step out in their best island wear yet.
The newlyweds, who are expecting their first child in the spring, stepped out on Wednesday in Fiji in perfectly coordinated styles.
The Duchess glowed in a new pink printed ruffle dress by Figue, while Harry was relaxed in a blue printed shirt. The $1,495 dress features a wrap silhouette, long sleeves and an asymmetrical ruffle hem with pom pom and seashell details. She paired the look with her Castañer espadrilles and wore her hair in a relaxed updo with flowers in it, courtesy of her wedding hairdresser who joined her on tour.
Their second day in Fiji has been a busy one with Prince Harry travelling to Colo-i-Suva Forest Park on Wednesday, and the Duchess stayed behind to have morning tea at the British High Commissioner’s Residence and visit a local market.
Prince Harry met with school children, student conservators, representatives from sustainable tourism industries, and local landowners and villagers to see how the rainforest impacts upon their education and livelihoods.
Meanwhile, the Duchess learned more about a UN Women’s project, “Markets for Change,” which promotes women’s empowerment in marketplaces throughout the Pacific. She then traveled to Suva Market to meet some of the female vendors who have become empowered through the project.
There was an apparent security scare at the marketplace the Duchess visited, with media outlets reporting she had to be rushed out after only a few minutes of her scheduled visit.
