Stars have descended upon the French Riviera for the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. Along with the films – Aftersun starring Paul Mescal, Three Thousand Years of Longing starring Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton, and Crimes of The Future starring Kristen Stewart and Viggo Mortensen have been garnering praise from critics – the festival’s red carpet is no doubt the highlight of the festival, with Hollywood stars rubbing shoulders with Europe’s elite and indie darlings.
Anne Hathaway is a major contender for the Cannes best dressed, stepping out in a number of chic ensembles. Attending the festival for her film Armageddon Time, the Hollywood starlet looked effortlessly elegant in a shimmering Armani Privé gown and satin wrap, paired with a bespoke Bulgari necklace.
She also nailed the a European summer style with a 60’s touch in a Gucci minidress with platform heels and bold cat-eye sunglasses.

The stars of Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis also glittered in Gucci for the premiere of the film. Olivia DeJonge wore a jade green Gucci gown with organza ruffles, paired with metallic platforms.

Swedish star Alicia Vikander cut a bold figure in a sculptural white gown with cropped trousers for the Irma Vep photocall.

Singer Tallia Storm turned heads in a vibrant gown with bright pink bow at the opening ceremony.

Cannes jury member Deepika Padukone wore a black and gold Sabyasachi saree for the opening night.

Model Iris Mittanaere paired a jaw-dropping diamond necklace with a black gown with pink cut-out bodice by designer Mugler.

Top Gun: Maverick stars Tom Cruise and Jennifer Connelly looked cool and confident for their Cannes red carpet events. For the screening, Connelly dazzled in Louis Vuitton.
Bella Hadid served old-school Hollywood glam in a vintage black Versace gown.

Sharon Stone cemented her style icon status in a blue and white floral Dolce and Gabbana dress, which transformed halfway along the red carpet.
