The Bidens’ dogs have arrived at the White House
Dogs have returned to the White House! The Bidens’ German shepherds have moved into their new digs.

Champ and Major Biden arrived at their new home on Sunday, according to a spokesman for First Lady Jill Biden.

“The First Family wanted to get settled before bringing the dogs down to Washington from Delaware,” the spokesman said.

“Champ is enjoying his new dog bed by the fireplace and Major loved running around on the South Lawn.”

The pair’s arrival ends the longest stretch the White House has gone without pets since the 1800s, with Donald Trump being the first president to not have a pet since Andrew Johnson.

Major’s arrival also marks the first time a shelter dog has made himself at home at the White House.

The two dogs may be joined by another furry friend soon too – Jill and Joe have previously revealed they plan on getting a cat.

As for when the kitty will arrive, Jill’s spokesman said to “stay tuned”.
