Are you hungry on your keto diet, but it’s not meal-time? Then keto snacks can be the answer. Snacks can buy you some time, allowing you to delay meals to fit your busy schedule.

Popular for weight loss, the ketogenic diet, or “keto,” is a high-fat, moderate-protein, low carbohydrate diet that puts your body in a fat-burning state known as ketosis.

In ketosis, your body burns body fat, rather than carbohydrates, for fuel. The diet is not recommended for everyone, but has shown some good results for weight loss. Some healthy foods to eat on a keto diet include seafood, non-starchy vegetables (like spinach, broccoli, kale and zucchini), avocadoes, meat, eggs, dairy-foods, coconut oil, olive oil, nuts, seeds, berries and olives.

Many popular snack foods have too many carbs to easily fit into a keto diet plan. This can be particularly frustrating when you’re trying to ward off that between-meal hunger.

But, don’t worry. There are many low-carb snack options that are just as healthy as they are delicious.
