Sydney’s Saint Peter recognised in list of world’s top restaurants

Sydney's Saint Peter has made the cut in a list of the world's top restaurants.

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants is set to be announced on 5 June – but in anticipation of the awards, a list of the restaurants which ranked from 51-100 has been released. Among the honorees was Saint Peter, coming in at number 98.

Located on Sydney’s Oxford Street, Saint Peter is the brainchild of chef Josh Niland. Known for his cuisine celebrating seafood, Niland places emphasis on utilising the entire fish in his dishes.

The ceremony for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 takes place in Las Vegas on 5 June. The extended 51-100 list features restaurants across six continents and is compiled from the votes of 1,080 independent experts from the world of gastronomy, from food journalists and globally renowned chefs to travelling gastronomes.

Each has contributed their votes to help create The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024, with the full list to be revealed two weeks from today, live on stage.
