It’s the match that comic book aficionados have been waiting decades for. The battle of arguably the two greatest caped crusaders: Batman versus Superman.
One boasts brawn, the other has supernatural powers.
Time Warner Inc’s Warner Bros. studio has confirmed the title of Zack Snyder’s anticipated superhero sequel: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The follow-up to last year’s Man of Steel (which grossed $688 million in worldwide sales) is slated for release in 2016.
Dawn of Justice will star Henry Cavill again as Superman, opposite Argo director Ben Affleck as Batman in what we think is a surprise move for Affleck.
The film also sees Amy Adams reprise her role as Lois Lane, and Jesse Eisenberg will play Lex Luthor.
