Earlier this month, JT treated fans to the first new musical material since 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, with the single Suit & Tie. Featuring rapper and good friend Jaz-Z, the track displays a smoother R&B direction from the pop singer, who shot to fame via former boy super band NSync.
Not content with simply releasing a new record (The 20/20 Experience is set for release March 22), the recently married Timberlake has also announced that he has collaborated with designer to the stars, Tom Ford, to create a dapper new range of menswear just for his new record. His admiration for Ford’s pieces has been public knowledge for some time (Ford dressed Timberlake at the recent SAGs, created his wedding tuxedo, and his Suit & Tie video), this bromance is anything but new.
The range will undoubtedly feature dashing stylings from the duo, spanning ties, dinner suits, shirts, and maybe even footwear – and we’ll get to see glimpses of them throughout the course of JT’s album releases. Like the cover of his Suit & Tie single, for instance.
