If the walls of Le Beauvallon could talk, they may not divulge much at all.
Built in 1914, the grand hotel has hosted plenty of notable names over the decades, but discretion has always been part of the draw. In sweeping grounds dotted with palms and pines overlooking the gulf of Saint-Tropez, the hotel once welcomed the likes of Winston Churchill and Audrey Hepburn as guests, but has been closed to the public since 2008.

Following a meticulous restoration, the coastal getaway is now returning to service once more.
The building and its grounds have been refined and reinvigorated, opening on April 24, 2026 as COMO Le Beauvallon, a small-occupancy, luxury hotel dedicated to a personalised Riviera experience.
It’s a fitting new era for the Belle Époque palace.

COMO Hotels and Resorts’ owner and founder Christina Ong has been sure-footed in setting a new standard for modern luxury, both in the design of her properties and the integrated lifestyle philosophy instilled in each.COMO’s best-known properties might be chic celebrity magnets such as COMO Parrot Cay in the Caribbean and COMO Metropolitan London in Mayfair and new builds such as the hotel confirmed to open in Melbourne in 2028.
That said, the group has plenty of experience reviving heritage locations. In every transformation, as with Le Beauvallon, history and local culture are thoughtfully preserved.

The new hotel is intended to feel like staying in a private home, with just 28 suites with sweeping views and 14 beautifully appointed rooms.
Original spaces have been tweaked to ensure they are flooded with the famous Riviera light that has captivated painters for over a century, interiors enhanced with meticulous art curation. The main hotel commands a hillside position in a secluded 10-acre stretch but these grounds flow down to a chic tiled bayside pool, restaurant and public beach club.

Yannick Alléno, who holds 17 Michelin stars and runs two restaurants in Monaco, has been installed to oversee the hotel’s dining, including the new beach club restaurant, Beauvallon Sur Mer.
Yacht tenders can be moored directly in front of the restaurant. Visitors can make a day of it by enjoying the pool or lounging in stylish daybeds overlooking the sand, ordering from the menu of fresh, nutritious dishes or taking a dip with direct access to the beach on the exclusive coastal strip.
It’s an eight-minute ride to the heart of Saint-Tropez across the bay, or a short trip in a speedboat to the famed Pampelonne.
Back in the hotel’s main building, relaxation and invigoration come in the form of treatments via Ong’s world-class COMO Shambhala spa, whose holistic therapies are reportedly loved by Julia Roberts and Daniel Craig. The wellness practices blend modern science with time-honoured traditional techniques, an apt mirror of the approach taken in delivering Le Beauvallon its brand new era.
