Would you spend a night getting up-close and personal with sharks?

For anyone who’s been dreaming about spending a night under the sea with a view to die for then look no further.

Airbnb has launched a competition that could make this dream a reality. Winners of Airbnb’s Night At The Shark Aquarium promotion will be flown to Paris from anywhere in the world and be invited to spend a night with the fishes… and some sharks.

Opened in 1867, the Aquarium de Paris was the first of its kind anywhere in the world.  The Aquarium de Paris, located in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower, is also home to 35 beautiful sharks and you’re invited to sleepover.

“Ever gaze into an aquarium and wonder what it’s like to live under water? Imagine yourself submerged in three million litres, in an aquarium ten meters deep, alongside 35 of the most majestic creatures on Earth: sharks!” the description reads. “Experience what it’s like, even for a night, to live amongst these feared creatures. This is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sleep in an underwater bedroom, where the only thing separating you from your neighbours is the 360-degree transparent wall.”

Three lucky winners will have the opportunity to stay the night, hosted by Fred Buyle, a world record-breaking free-diver, underwater photographer, and shark enthusiast.

“Once you’re settled, Fred and one of our marine biologists will guide you on a tour through the aquarium, and provide an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of sharks: how they live, why they’re so misunderstood, and their importance to the ocean’s ecosystem.”

If this sounds like something you would like to do then be sure to get your entires in before April 3rd thru the Airbnb website.
