The actress has posted pictures of her riding saddle and homegrown vegetables on Instagram recently, while being busy with work.
Doherty first revealed she had breast cancer in 2015 at which time she underwent a single mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation.
After going into remission, the cancer returned in 2020 and spread to other parts of her body.
She has publicly discussed how she’s coping while still working and enjoying life. “Stage 4 cancer, it doesn’t mean the end of your life,” she said. “It doesn’t mean that you’re not viable in the workplace. It’s quite the opposite.”
Doherty released three projects in 2021 and has just finished filming the comedy movie, How to Make a Deal with the Devil.
“You really have to dig deep to face cancer, and in that, you find all this stuff that you had hidden away,” the actress told Good Morning America in October 2021.
“And it’s beautiful things that you find: You find the vulnerability, you find your trust in people again. You find forgiveness.”
