Shaken or stirred? Onslow launches a Scapegrace martini trolley for summer
Inspired by the era of Old World supper clubs, Onslow is serving up cocktails in a surprising new way.

Josh Emett’s acclaimed Onslow restaurant, has collaborated with award-winning New Zealand distillery Scapegrace for a martini trolley service that’s sure to excite cocktail lovers.

Inspired by the Old Word supper club era, Onslow will be bringing around their throwback cocktail carts for lunch and dinner throughout the summer season.

The Onslow team will be pouring Scapegrace’s award-winning vodkas and gins, made right at the table to your preference – be it vodka or gin, dry or dirty, olives or twist.

Chef Josh Emett says their new tableside service offers guests a new level of ceremony that celebrates the iconic cocktail.

“I fell in love with the ceremonies of traditional dining after spending my London years at Claridges and the Savoy Grill. Trolley service was a big part of that style of service, and is something that has always stuck with me wherever I have gone,” he says.

His wife and business partner, Helen Emett says that they see the new tableside service as a way to engage diners by incorporating elements of surprise that people can’t get at home.

“This partnership is a meeting of equals with Scapegrace’s modern spin on the classic martini paired with Onslow’s reinvention of Old World gastronomy and service. How could you possibly go wrong?,” says Scapegrace co-founder Mark Neal.
