Miss Williams, 36, is to face Germany’s Angelique Kerber in the final at Wimbledon. In other exciting news, she has just revealed that her good friend, Meghan Markle, will be cheering her on from the stands.

The fact that Serena has made it to the Wimbledon final is incredibly impressive on so many levels, but probably the most notable being that it’s only ten months after the tennis star nearly died during childbirth.
Perhaps this is why Meghan is making the huge effort to attend the game and support her friend.
Serena Williams was a guest at Meghan and Harry’s wedding earlier this year, and has just spoken about how special her friendship with the Duchess is, saying, “We always had a wonderful friendship… we always have supported each other, just been there for each other through a lot.”
The Duchess of Cambridge (who is also the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club) will also be attending Wimbledon, joining her husband, Prince William, for the men’s singles final on Sunday, July 15. This will be Kate’s first time at Wimbledon this year as she has been on maternity leave since the April 23 birth of their son Prince Louis.
