The French First Lady, 65, is no stranger to bold wardrobe choices and the recent state dinner was no exception.
Brigitte Macron dazzled in a white gown with glittering silver detailing as she joined her husband President Macron, 40, at the banquet hosted by the Danish Royal Family at Christiansborg Palace. The couple were met by Queen Margrethe, 78, and escorted into the reception room.

Prince Joachim, 49, attended with his wife, Princess Marie, 42. Crown Prince Frederik, 50, was also there with his wife, Australian-born Crown Princess Mary, 46.

Princess Mary chose an elegant white satin gown with a full skirt and a black watercolour floral print. Her sister-in-law Princess Marie took a leaf out of the Duchess of Sussex’s style books with an off-shoulder red gown.
Also in attendance was Princess Benedikte of Denmark, the sister of Queen Margrethe, who donned a soft purple dress with a cape.
