The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived at Bondi beach, kicked off their shoes and joined in Fluro Friday festivities.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke with surfing group OneWave and took part in the group’s mental health awareness session, Fluro Friday.  The Royals caused global interest in the non-for profit surfing group, whose site crashed within minutes of the young couple joining this mornings Fluro Friday session.

They were presented with their own leis, before joining a circle on the sand as part of the group’s session. OneWave co-founder Sam Schumacher was diagnosed with asthma at the age of three and he was put on medication immediately. His father encouraged Sam to swim at Bondi and converted to saltwater therapy, the concept behind OneWave.

Meghan Markle had her hair tied into a ponytail and wore a full-length striped dress by Aussie designer Martin Grant, while Prince Harry wore a sky blue button-up shirt loosely tucked into beige chino pants.

The couple are next off to Sydney Harbour, where the Duke will climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge to launch Invictus Games in Sydney by raising an Invictus flag  on the Bridge.
