It was a busy weekend for the royal family, who not only celebrated Father's Day, but also Prince William's birthday.

Different members of the Royal Family shared images throughout the day. Kensington Royal, the house of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared two new images specifically to celebrate Father’s Day. The first picture is of Prince William and his father Prince Charles taken by the Duchess of Cambridge last December. The pair have their arms around one another as they smile for the camera.

The second is an unseen image of a young Kate Middleton sitting on her dad, Michael Middleton’s knee.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles shared images of him smiling with William and Prince Harry at a 2004 polo match at Cirencester Park.

The Prince of Wales also celebrated his own father, the Duke of Edinburgh with a childhood photo taken in 1951 in the grounds of Clarence House.

The celebrations came full circle with the Duke of Edinburgh sharing a collection of images from the Royal archives of the Duke with his children – Princes Charles, Andrew and Edward and Princess Anne.

Prince Harry did not publicly acknowledge Father’s Day or his brother’s birthday.

The Duke of Cambridge plays on the grass with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to mark both his birthday and Fathers Day. Prince William, Duke of Cambridge turned 38 on June 21, 2020. The photo was taken by The Duchess of Cambridge/Kensington Palace via Getty Images in Norfolk last month. For more images click here.
