Don’t want to waste another winter having the common cold drag on and on? Be ready to hit it hard and fast with a proven remedy that has stood the test of time with its unique herbal combination.

What is Esberitox?
Esberitox is a herbal remedy that has stood the test of time. Patients continue to use Esberitox® when it comes to helping reduce the duration and severity of cold symptoms, which is why the product has remained in the market for 90 years.

Clinical Studies
Esberitox® has two double-blinded studies:
Clinical Study One (Vorberg G Arztl. Praxis 36 1984, 6:97-98)
The randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study conducted on 100 patients aged 18-60 years of age and suffering from colds showed significant benefit of Esberitox® over Vitamin C after three days on the basis of cold parameters: fatigue, headache, subfebrile temperature, runny nose, watery secretion, sore throat, difficulty swallowing, redness, swelling and coughing.

Clinical Study Two (Henneicke-von Zepelin et al. Curr Med Res Opin. 1999;15:214-227)
The randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 263 people with common cold demonstrated efficacy and safety with rapid onset of improvement of cold symptoms. If treated as soon as practical after occurrence of initial symptoms, therapeutic benefit with Esberitox® occurred on day 2 and reached significance on day 4.

When to take?
Esberitox has been shown to be most effective when taken at the first sign of cold. The Esberitox chewable tablets are suitable for adults and children from 4 years of age, and Esberitox Compact is suitable for adults and children from 12 years of age. Both Esberitox and Esberitox Compact are free from gluten, colours and preservatives.

• It is important that you stay at home if you feel unwell. You should also continue to practise good hygiene.
• If you have cold or flu like symptoms you should seek medical advice and get tested for COVID-19.
• If you have COVID-19 you must isolate and follow the directions of your local Public Health Unit.
