Reese Witherspoon was happy to have the help of professional organisers from The Home Edit to get the dramatic kitchen in her Nashville, Tennessee home in order.
Revealed in a YouTube clip by The Home Edit, Reese is seen exploring the gorgeous space, gushing over the job the team have done to re-order her drawers and shelves.
The 48-year-old Legally Blonde star’s spacious, light-filled kitchen includes a long marble counter-top, exposed brick walls and surprisingly, striking blue cabinetry, that adds a unique personality to the space.
Round pendant lights hang over the island counter, cooktop and sink, while open gold-framed shelving is suspended above a second butler, or farmhouse-style, sink. Tan, woven-back bar stools are tucked into an extended breakfast bar along the island.
Flooring is pale reclaimed-wood that contrasts with the white-painted walls and brickwork. The overall look is a blend of modern elegance with vintage touches and brass accents.
Viewers will find a sense of relief that even stars have jumbled drawers full of random items, as the team uses clear dividers and labels to edit and organise each area.
The actress, who is seen in the clip wearing a white knit top and blue jeans, appears thrilled with the revamping of the space.
“Oh my gosh! You guys, this is incredible,” she exclaims. “Okay, this is making me so happy.”
On spotting the pared-back shelving she says: “Y’all, this is so much better. It’s just so much cleaner and more streamlined and easier to see what we need.”
The actress was also just as excited when viewing the refrigerator’s contents. “Oh my gosh. This is insane. Even the fruit is organised!”
Viewers also gain glimpses of the classic home, reportedly purchased for US$4.2M in 2023, around the time of her divorce from husband Jim Toth following almost 12 years of marriage.
In between filming the home clips, Reese has been spending her time working on the third season of HBO’s hit series, Big Little Lies.
