Just when we thought we couldn’t love Pitch Perfect 2 star and all-round excellent Australian Rebel Wilson anymore than we already do, she rocked the red carpet at the MTV awards in enormous fluffy white wings, a be-dazzled bra and leather pants with the word “THINK” written on the bum. Oh, and a really important message about body diversity and how the Bellas singing group in Pitch Perfect are good role models for young women.
She told reporters in the press room after the awards,
“The Bella girls are all different shape and sizes and nationalities. I think one of the good messages in the movie is that you’re all beautiful. I think sometimes girls look at Victoria’s Secret models and think that they have to model themselves after that, but I really don’t think that’s the best. Even though they are called ‘models,’ they’re not the best people to model yourself after. I like to encourage girls to think, which is why I put that on my butt,” Wilson said. “It’s really about what’s up here [pointing to her head], and not what’s here [pointing to her bum].”
Now we want to emblazon THINK onto all of our clothes. Oh and also get a pair of leather pants just like Rebel’s.
