Rachel Weisz wins West End hearts
Hollywood stars Rachel Weisz and Jude Law picked up prizes at the Critics' Circle Theatre Awards in London, proving their talent soars beyond the silver screen, MiNDFOOD reports.

Weisz won the best actress award for her performance in A Streetcar Named Desire at the Donmar Warehouse, while Law was voted best Shakespearean performance for playing the title role in Hamlet, according to the BBC.

The best new play was Jez Butterworth’s Jerusalem, for which Mark Rylance also won the best actor prize for his performance as drug dealer and wastrel Johnny “Rooster” Byron.

Rupert Goold scooped the best director prize for Enron, about the collapsed US energy trading company. The work is transferring to the West End amid rave reviews.
