Kensington Palace has published three pictures taken recently of Prince George by his mum, the Duchess of Cambridge – formerly Kate Middleton.
The third in line to the throne turns six on Monday.
Two of the images show the prince wearing a white England home shirt and grinning in the garden of his home at Kensington Palace.
A third shows him on a family holiday, wearing a green polo shirt and striped blue and white shorts.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s sixth birthday,” a post on Twitter read.
“These two photographs were taken recently in the gardens at Kensington Palace by The Duchess of Cambridge. Thank you everyone for your lovely messages on Prince George’s Birthday!”
Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London.
He will begin Year 2 this September, his final year in the lower school before he moves to the middle school.
