Catherine attended the Festival of Remembrance at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Saturday local time, accompanied by her husband William and other members of the Royal Family.
King Charles was in attendance despite also receiving cancer treatment, however Queen Camilla was not present as she is recovering from a chest infection.
Princess Catherine’s latest engagement follows her last public appearance in October, when she met the bereaved families of three young girls killed in a stabbing attack at a Taylor Swift dance event in Southport.
On Friday, Buckingham Palace confirmed the Princess would attend Remembrance events in London over the weekend, including the Sunday service at the Cenotaph.
Meanwhile, Queen Camilla will mark Remembrance Day “privately at home”, according to a Palace statement.
“Following doctors’ guidance to ensure a full recovery from a seasonal chest infection, and to protect others from any potential risk, Her Majesty will not attend this weekend’s Remembrance events,” the statement said.
“While this is a source of great disappointment to the Queen, she will mark the occasion privately at home and hopes to return to public duties early next week.”
