While the Queen and the other royal family members appeared with decorum during the Trooping the Colour part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, 4-year-old Prince Louis was not shy in expressing his full emotions.
During the RAF flypast, which saw airforce planes soaring over the palace to mark the Queen’s 70 years on the throne, young Louis looked both excited and overwhelmed by the spectacle, holding his hands to his ears and squeezing his eyes shut.
The young prince wore an adorable sailors outfit, which appeared to be the same on his father, William, wore during the 1985 Trooping the Colour, when he was two years old.
Before the flypast, Louis exchanged a few words with his great-grandmother, to a smiling Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
