Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are managing to escape for a brief holiday ahead of their May wedding. The couple are set to visit the beautiful Greek island of Zakynthos, a local hotel boss has revealed.
Spiros Lougaris, owner of the Hotel Castelli, shared the message on Facebook this morning. “Good Morning dear friends. We have just been informed that His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales (familiarly known and loved as Prince Harry) and Meghan Markle will be arriving in Zakynthos on a ONE DAY stopover of a trip in early May PRIOR to their wedding”, he wrote. “It is an enormous pleasure and honour for the whole island and of course for our friend Maria Drogitis that will be their personal guide, the Municipality stakeholders and all residents and visitors, that share the same enthusiasm for our beautiful island of Zakynthos!”
The couple are expected to fly into Corfu then sail to Zakynthos on a private yacht before stopping in at other Ionian islands including Lefkas. Meghan is known for her love of travel, which was one of the main focuses of her lifestyle blog, The Tig.
