Star Wars fans can get even more excited about the upcoming film after it has been confirmed that Prince Harry and Prince William will be making a cameo appearance.
The royal brothers will star as stormtroopers alongside Oscar-nominated actor Tom Hardy in Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi, which hits cinemas this December.

The Princes visited Pinewood Studios last year, where they met the cast and crew and were photographed on set. Only now, however, has it been revealed that there was more to the visit.
John Boyega, who plays Flynn, confirmed the Prince’s roles to The Daily Mail. “I’ve had enough with those secrets,” he confesses. “They came on set. They were there. I’m sick of hiding it. It think it was leaked, anyway.”

The young actor added that: ‘There were images. Every time I get asked, I have to dodge it. I’m tired of dodging it. They were there. So was Tom Hardy.”
The cameo fulfills a dream of Prince William, who admitted to the crew that he was a “total geek” when it came to the Star Wars franchise.

Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi will be released in Australia on December 14. Watch the Princes on set last year.
