Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran have left fans scratching their heads as to what the pair have got planned for World Mental Day.

A handshake and a five-second video have left us impatiently wondering what Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran are going to share with the globe on World Mental Health Day.

In a short clip posted on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s official Instagram page, Ed Sheeran rings the doorbell of what appears to be Princess Eugenie’s Ivy Cottage in Kensington Palace.

Behind the door is Prince Harry, who, after shaking hands with mega popstar Sheeran, invites him in along with his camera crew.

This is followed by a tantalising end-screen that simply says, “TOMORROW October 10”, which is World Mental Health Day.

The clip has been viewed over 2.3 million times.

We will have more to come on this as and when the full project is shared.

The Duke of Sussex is a long-time advocate of projects and initiatives aimed at tackling mental health.

As well as speaking up for sufferers and taking time out of his schedule to hear their stories, he has famously opened his heart about his own mental health struggles over the past two decades.

It remains to be seen what fans can look forward to hearing from Harry and Ed on October 10, and what form the project or conversation will take.

Earlier this week, Harry starred in a British National Health Service (NHS) campaign advert alongside brother Prince William, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

The Cambridges and Sussexes narrate the three-minute video themselves, which encourages people on how to tackle various mental wellbeing issues such as poor sleep, stress and low mood.

The video supports the Every Mind Matters initiative and was released earlier in the build-up to World Mental Health Day.
