President Obama and First Lady Michelle have officially met the entire royal family, after Prince George was allowed to stay up past his bedtime for the special occasion.
Unfortunately Charlotte missed out on the meeting after falling asleep a little earlier.
Prince George, clad in a white robe and pyjamas, was introduced to the President and First Lady in William and Kate’s private apartment in Kensington Palace.
This is the first time that William and Kate had allowed cameras into their newly refurbished apartment.

The Obamas came bearing gifts, a rocking horse for George and a stuffed dog for Charlotte – a little reminder of their White House puppy Sunny. George was especially excited about the rocking horse, thanking the Obamas for their wonderful gift.
William, Kate and Harry will host the Presidential couple for dinner this evening, before their whirlwind tour comes to an end and they fly back to the U.S.
