One of the best/worst things about kids is their utter disregard for decorum and hierarchy. Yes, they might be under strict instructions to be on their best behaviour, but mostly kids are going to say and do what they please. Like the time that journalist Laura Moser took her daughter to the White House to meet the President of the Free World and her toddler chucked an epic wobbly. We’re talking face planted into the carpet, right in front of POTUS.
So how did Barack Obama react? Only in the best possible way, by gesturing toward the toddler with a “whaddaya gonna do” expression for the camera.
The photo was circulated around the internet after Laura Moser’s brother, New York Times columnist Benjamin Moser tweeted the photo with the caption: “This really might be the best picture ever: my niece Claudia throwing a fit at Passover.”
Laura Moser could see the funny side too, tweeting the photo with the caption “My daughter is an internet meme.”
