If you are looking for some of the most spacious and comfortable ships at sea, you’ve come to the right place. 140228-travel-cuirse-lead2 Today, Holland America Line’s fleet of 15 elegant ships offers more than 500 sailings a year visiting all seven continents.  From October 2014 to April 2015, two Holland America Line ships –– ms Oosterdam and ms Volendam –– will sail a series of Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific cruises, visiting more than 50 ports where guests can explore the exotic landscapes of New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji. Whilst the New Zealand itineraries give guests a chance to experience some of the most amazing scenic cruising in the world, including the dramatic Fiordland National Park and Bay of Plenty. These itineraries also visit both the North and South Islands of New Zealand with calls at popular ports of Auckland, Wellington, Napier and Tauranga. Earlier this year, Holland America Line announced the addition of Australian Chef Mark Best as the newest member of the esteemed Culinary Council. Mark will join Holland America Line’s Master Chef and Council Chairman Rudi Sodamin, and prominent international chefs Jonnie Boer, David Burke, Elizabeth Falkner and Jacques Torres on the Culinary Council. Best will add a selection of his French-inspired signature dishes to the menus and work with Sodamin and other council members to shape the culinary direction aboard Holland America Line’s fleet. Pinnacle Grill Holland America Line introduced the Culinary Council in 2010. In addition to providing expert guidance, advice and knowledge regarding onboard menus and culinary offerings, the Council works with the line’s offerings in the Culinary Arts Centre, presented by Food & Wine magazine, to bring new and engaging learning experiences to guests.
