The Duchess of Cambridge was so sick with all three children she had to withdraw from public duties for several weeks. Lucky for Pippa, she has endured no such discomfort during her first trimester.
The 34-year-old is expecting her first child in October with multi-millionaire financier husband James Matthews, and has shared the details of her pregnancy, revealing that she was quite nervous about what she could and couldn’t do.

At her 12-week scan Pippa had many questions, like if she could still exercise safely, and whether her tennis serve would cause strain on her body. She later revealed in her Waitrose Weekend column that she has given up jogging, “I stopped running — not because I read it was unsafe, just because I rather liked the idea of giving my body (and growing baby) a rest from pavement pounding.” But she is still working hard to keep her body in shape (and to make sure her jeans still fit post-pregnancy), “I’ve noticed my body change and weight increase — but through effective exercise and sports I feel that it’s being strengthened to support a healthy pregnancy, birth and recovery.”
