Parks and Recreation creator Mike Schur revealed he sent “a hopeful email” to the cast asking if they would participate in order to raise money for the COVID-19 response, and said everyone got back to him “within 45 minutes”.
“Our old Parks and Rec team has put together one more 30-minute slice of (quarantined) Pawnee life and we hope everyone enjoys it. And donates!” said Schur.
Up to $500,000 in donations will be matched with contributions from NBC Universal, the writers, producers, and cast of the show, and State Farm and Subaru of America.
