The start of Awards Season is here!
The Golden Globes celebrates the best TV shows and movies every year. This year the show is hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, who went viral last year for her Tom Brady roast.
On the Golden Globe red carpet, celebrities shined in black, gold and silver gowns with an occasional red or periwinkle in the mix.
Winning a Globe can shine a spotlight on movies and performances in the run-up to the Academy Awards in March. So far, awards pundits say, there is no clear favorite for the coveted best picture prize at the Oscars.
Globe honorees are chosen by 334 entertainment journalists from 85 countries. The Globes voting body has been expanded in recent years and organisers instituted reforms after being criticized for ethical lapses and a lack of diversity.
Demi Moore shone in a metallic custom Armani Prive gown with Cartier Jewelry.
The Diplomat star, Keri Russell went big with a long, white blazer dress and yellow diamond belt.
Kristen Bell, who attended with her husband Dax Shepherd and is nominated for Best Actress in a TV Series for her role in ‘Nobody Wants This’ wore a strapless champagne Ashi Couture gown.

Zoe Saldana won Best Performance for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for her performance in Emilia Perez.
“Wicked” star Ariana Grande arrived in a yellow vintage Givenchy gown with a beaded bodice that she said was a tribute to the yellow brick road leading to Oz in the movie musical.
“It’s so exciting to be here because I’m such a fan of every single person I bump into,” Grande said of the star-studded crowd in Beverly Hills.
Elle Fanning added a twist to her nude Balmain ball gown with leopard print bodice.
