2012 A.RETIEF Sauvignon Blanc Semillion

Winemaker Alex Retief has drawn on two years spent in Bordeaux where he fell in love with Bordeaux Blanc, for this 2012 Sauvignon Blanc. Characterised by stone fruit and melon on the nose with citrus flavours on the palette, it finishes crisp and long. Team with seafood dishes, like our Spiced Fish with Barley and Olive Salad.

Matua Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Matua planted the first New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc vines in 1969, producing their first bottle in 1974. This year marks the 40th anniversary of not only Matua Sauvignon Blanc but also Sauvignon Blanc in New Zealand. Their Sauvignon Blanc 2013 has been awarded three gold medals, across New Zealand, China and Hong Kong. A great accompaniment to a roast chicken, like this one with Jerusalem Artichokes and Rosemary Gravy.

Shaw & Smith Sauvignon Blanc 2013

A regional speciality of the Adelaide Hills, Sauvignon Blancs from this part of the world are generally a cut above. An overall tangy and zippy flavour palate with tropical fruit aromas (namely, passionfruit) makes it a favourite of Sauv Blanc purists.Try it with this Sizzlin’ Hot Prawn and Spinach Linguini.
