Olivia Culpo married NFL star Christian McCaffrey in a romantic ceremony in Rhode Island, USA – and Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece was one of the couple’s notable guests in attendance.
Culpo made sure to reinforce her fashion influencer status, the former Miss Universe working with Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana on her demure ceremony gown.
“It’s a covenant. It’s the beginning of the rest of your life—and it’s the union and bond of two people forever,” the model and former Miss Universe told Vogue. “I wanted something that felt as serious as that commitment,” she says.
Culpo’s long-sleeve crepe crew neck ball gown had a voluminous skirt and button-lined back. “I didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form,” she says of the dress, which she wore with a 16-foot lace veil.
The couple, who have been dating since 2019 and got engaged in April of last year, had a guest list of sporting stars and well-known faces donning black tie attire for the event.
As for that Royal in attendance? Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece joined new girlfriend Brooks Nader, the Sports Illustrated model, at the happy event.
Following on from the ceremony at Watch Hill Chapel, Culpo donned three different outfits, also custom Dolce & Gabbana (seen in the video taken at her final fitting, above), for the reception at a nearby hotel. Two featured sweeping ethereal swathes of sheer fabric while a final party dress included a bustier-style bodysuit with a boned short bell-shaped skirt.
Culpo told Vogue she wore little makeup on the big day, forgoing mascara and eyebrow gel in favour of a pared-back look.
On Wednesday June 26, Christian shared a carousel of images of the two outside a courthouse building, hinting that they had already tied the knot in a civil ceremony. McCaffrey wore a cream linen suit, while Culpo wore a white button-down blouse with cap sleeves and a pleated midi-length white skirt with a short veil attached to a headband.
