When David Jones opens its doors in Wellington on the 28th of July, a number of luxury labels will make their New Zealand debut. The department store will be the first in New Zealand to offer Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Valentino and Saint Laurent alongside favourites such as Chanel, Raymond Weil, Mimco and Samantha Wills.  New Zealand brands—Twenty-Seven Names, Karen Walker, Kate Sylvester–will be added to the David Jones line-up. The likes of Trelise Cooper and Sabatini, currently stocked in David Jones’ Australian stores, will also be on offer.

Beauty enthusiasts won’t be disappointed either. Tom Ford fans will finally be able to shop the coveted fragrance and makeup collection, and Wellingtonians will be able to get their hands on new-to-the-city, Aesop and Benefit.
