This summer the racing world descend on Ellerslie for the New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Million on Saturday, 27 January. Make the most of the Anniversary Weekend and see 14 of Australasia’s top jockeys compete for the million-dollar purse. And if that wasn’t enough, in 2018, the Auckland Racing Club is planning double the excitement and upping the ante with another million-dollar race, the Karaka Million 3YO Classic.
Toast the long weekend in style at the Garden Party on course in Cuvée, located right beside the Birdcage and opposite the winning post. Enjoy a glass of Champagne G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge on arrival with your ticket and as day turns to night you can carry on partying with live music & more.
