Jane Daniels has opened a new boutique at 63 Ponsonby Road.
The designer says she has long dreamt of displaying her elegant clothing label in the vibrant suburb, describing the store as “the ideal place to pay homage to our luxurious fabrics that create unique fashion forward pieces”.
On visiting Jane Daniels’ latest store, customers can expect a classic black, white, and grey color scheme enhanced by industrial metal fittings designed especially for the store.
The European-produced fabrics she sources for her New Zealand collections are bought solely from international fabric fairs favoured by luxury fashion brands. What sets Daniels apart from these international high-end labels is that she can use the textiles a season ahead.
Her latest spring/summer 14-15 collection is inspired by capturing the “essence of summer.” Fifties influences and Japanese-styled draping also permeate the collection in seasonal colours of melon, iris, Capri blue and sea green. The end result is a versatile range of garments that cater to any wardrobe – whether corporate, occasion wear, edgy industrial or smart casual.
