A bathhouse inspired by age-old traditions of European bathhouses but with a very high-end twist, will join the growing number of options for those in the mountain town looking for après ski rejuvenation and to support their health and fitness routines.
The Bathhouse Queenstown, scheduled to open in December, is the new outpost of The Bathhouse Group. The company recently established similar offering the The Bathhouse Albion in Brisbane, offering a range of sleek facilities including heated vitality pools, cold plunge, sauna and steam room.

The Queenstown location will offer the same line up, including a 38° heated vitality pool, ambient pool and 12° cold pool allowing visitors to follow a bathhouse ‘circuit’ designed to deliver the benefits of contrast therapy as well as heat treatments such as sauna.

Once you’re done with your dip and steam, you will be able to luxuriate in five-star facilities that includes hair and body care by natural Kiwi brand, Sans[ceuticals] and Dyson hair styling tools.
The chic, minimalist space by architects Studio Snell has been designed with primarily natural materials and soft, atmospheric lighting to foster a tranquil escape. The entire facility is also a ‘phone-free’ environment, encouraging a complete switch-off for total relaxation.

“Queenstown felt like a natural next step for The Bathhouse Group — it’s a destination globally celebrated for adventure, wellness, and nature, and attracts guests who share the same ethos our brand is built on,” says Hannah Hardy, General Manager of The Bathhouse Group.
“We are bringing an unrivalled luxury bathhouse offering to Queenstown with our fully immersive, comprehensive offering of hot and cold pools, saunas and steam rooms delivered with a first-class customer experience,” Hardy says.
