National and Labour neck and neck in polls
The RNZ latest poll of polls puts Labour ahead by a fraction.

In the aftermath of Thursday night’s debate, Labour and National are polling at less than 1% apart.

The RNZ poll averaged the most three recent polls, revealing that the Labour Party, sitting on 41.8%, is slightly ahead of the National Party, currently on 41.1%.

Only last week Labour was behind National, with polls reading 39% to the former and 41.8% to the latter.

The New Zealand election takes place on Saturday 23rd September.
