Supermodel Naomi Campbell has shared a heartbreaking post to social media revealing “every day this week we lost someone I know” to the novel coronavirus.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has shared a heartbreaking post to social media revealing “every day this week we lost someone I know” to the novel coronavirus.

Campbell urged followers to “keep the faith strong” and to “keep your spirits high and your attitude positive” in the post.

“Going into week four, these next two weeks are going to be the toughest yet,” she said.

“Every day this week we lost someone I know, there is no time to mourn or being able to be there for their loved ones.”

The 49-year-old has been keeping fans updated on her life in quarantine in recent weeks.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Campbell said isolation is a time to “soul-search and reflect”.

“We can’t come out the same way. We must not come out the same way,” she said.

The model also praised the workers on the front line during the coronavirus crisis.

“We have to be grateful to God for the doctors and the nurses and the hotel workers and the delivery people,” she said.

The star was one of a number of celebrities who held up placards thanking the NHS in a video to YouTube posted by NHS England.

Stars including Sir Elton John, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Phoebe Waller-Bridge all held up placards in the video saying #OurNHSPeople and #ThankYouNHS.
